This photo was all about the time that you took it because it had a shadow and where i live for a lot of the year you don't have a shadow when you are outside. When a day came that there were shadows on the ground i got a friend to jump in the air and i tried to capture a photo of the shadow, this worked. I edited this to black and white, which i think it made the shadow stand out more.
This photo captures the confusion on her face. I tried to make the photo a little blurry to help with the confusion, but i still wanted to be able to see the face very well. I like the lighting because it is not over exposed or under and is a little dark, but i think that that adds to it.
This shades of blue photo was interesting to take, I put the cameras white balance on to florescent which turned day light into blue. When i took this photo i thought it would not turn out nice, but it is actually one of my favourite photos. when i focused this i really tried to get the rustic ness of the screw.
As i was setting up this photo i was trying to find a way to make all the items visible, but i wanted to have a clear focus point. I spent a very long time trying to take photos from different angels and different focus', and after a long time i looked back and if became very hard to choose the best. With this i learned how to turn everyday scene in too a photo.
This is a photo of my dog (Scooter). In this photo i tried to capture the determination in his eyes as he was staring at a treat. With this photo i learned that taking a photo of an animal is harder then i thought. As animals do not always do what you ask of them. You have to be very patent.
With this photo i learned how to attempt to make a light source, even if it did not work to well i learned how to set it up. This was the first time i had attempted to do a photo from above so it was quit difficult. i would have like to have a better lighting but i think it is not too bad. Personally i like all the interest in the photo.
For this photo I kept changing where the light was coming form, so I could find how I liked the shadows. After I got the way that I liked the shadows I focused on finding a focus that I liked the most, I settled on the middle because I thought that It looked the best.
Make Art, that is what this collage spells out. I was downtown looking for letters all the photos ended up in different lighting, night, cloudy, which i like because it adds character. I like the words it spells out because photos are art just a different medium.
This is a photo of Vancouver snow, it shows how snow compresses when stepped on and how it is not a fluffy texture. I like how the foot prints lead in to a mess of foot prints where you loss the steps that you are attempting to follow.
This is a photo on a water glass that I drops blue and red die into. While taking this photo I had to try to get the right focus because the camera kept wanting to focus on the glass or the background. So as soon as I got the right focus I started to take photos rapidly, in hopes on capturing movement in the die.
